THE STORY BEHIND THE JOURNEY

ABOUT MY JOURNEY

It All Started With One Statement

It All Started With One Statement

“Nobody can make
money from the markets.”

This was one of the statements I repeatedly heard when I was in school, and it stayed with me. At that time, I did not even know much about trading or how financial markets actually worked. But instead of accepting the statement, I became curious about it.

I wanted to find the answer for myself. If people believed that nobody could make money from the markets, I wanted to understand what the market actually was, how it worked, why people struggled with it, and whether the problem was really the market itself.

That question became the starting point of my journey.

2011 — I Entered the Markets to Find the Answer

Around 2011, I started exploring financial markets. There was far less technology, fewer platforms, fewer analytical tools and much less easily accessible information compared with today.

That meant I had to explore and learn largely on my own. I started building my understanding from the ground up — learning what markets are, how price behaves, how different market situations develop and what actually drives the behaviour visible on a chart.

I was not entering the market with a predefined career plan. I was entering because I wanted to understand the answer to the question that had created my curiosity in the first place.

I Discovered Markets Through Charts

As I explored the markets, charts became one of the most fascinating parts of my learning journey.

Because of my natural interest in visualisation and creative thinking, I started looking at charts differently. I did not see them simply as numbers or data points. I started seeing them as visual representations of market behaviour.

This made me increasingly interested in price structures and chart patterns. I began asking why certain shapes and structures appeared, what was happening behind them, and whether these visual formations could reveal something meaningful about the behaviour of the market.

This became one of the earliest foundations of my research mindset.

I Became a Trader to Understand the Market From Within

As my understanding of markets developed, I realised that understanding the market alone was not enough.

I also needed to understand the person operating inside it.

That is when I became a trader.

My objective was not simply to become a trader. I wanted to experience the market from the trader's side — the uncertainty, pressure, mistakes, decisions, research, emotions, discipline and practical challenges that cannot be fully understood from the outside.

I wanted to understand the trader by becoming one.

Trading therefore became a way for me to experience the problem from within and understand what actually happens between the market and the person trying to operate in it.

I Started Understanding Traders and Their Problems

As I became more involved with traders and trading communities, my perspective expanded beyond my own experience.

Over the years, I engaged and worked with thousands of traders through different communities, interactions and experiences. This gave me the opportunity to observe how different traders think, research, make decisions, handle challenges and approach the market.

I began seeing recurring problems across traders.

Many of these problems were not simply about finding a better strategy. They were often connected to research, process, workflow, information overload, lack of focus, decision-making and the way traders interacted with technology.

This changed the question I was trying to answer.

I was no longer asking only, “How does the market work?”

I was also asking, “Why do traders struggle to work effectively within it?”

I Began Researching the Problems Behind the Problems

The more I observed markets and traders, the more interested I became in understanding the root causes behind visible problems.

A trader may see overtrading, inconsistency, confusion or poor decision-making as the problem. I became more interested in understanding what created those outcomes in the first place.

Was it the process? The research workflow? Information overload? Lack of structure? The environment? The decision-making process?

This way of thinking became an important part of my journey.

Instead of accepting the obvious answer, I started going deeper, questioning assumptions, experimenting and developing my own understanding.

Research Became the Foundation of My Journey

My journey was never built around depending on a predefined path or simply following someone else's framework.

I relied heavily on my own research, confidence, persistence, hard work and ability to find smarter solutions to difficult problems.

Over the years, there were successes, failures, mistakes, experiments and setbacks. Each one became part of the learning process.

I continuously studied, questioned, experimented, learned from outcomes and refined my understanding.

This independent approach gradually shaped the way I look at markets, traders and complex problems.

I Started Simplifying the Market

The deeper I went into the markets, the more I realised that complexity itself can become a barrier to understanding.

My approach was therefore not to keep adding more information or more layers of analysis. I became increasingly interested in understanding the market in a simpler and more structured way.

I explored different market conditions, price behaviour, timeframes and recurring structures to understand what actually matters and what can potentially be simplified.

The objective was never to make the market artificially simple.

It was to understand it deeply enough to remove unnecessary complexity.

Chart Pattern Research Became a Major Focus

As my market research developed, chart patterns became one of my major areas of focus.

Instead of simply accepting predefined pattern names and definitions, I wanted to understand the structures themselves — why they form, what conditions create them, how they behave across timeframes and whether they can be expressed through objective logic.

Over time, I developed and documented my own conditions, calculations, parameters and logic around chart-pattern research and explored how visual market structures could be converted into measurable and programmable systems.

This became a significant part of my research journey and eventually created a natural connection between market research and technology.

Research Led Me Towards Technology

While researching markets and working as a trader, I also started experiencing limitations in the technology and platforms available for research.

Multiple tools, charts, information sources and fragmented workflows often made research more time-consuming and distracting than it needed to be.

That created another question:

“If I can understand and simplify the problem, can technology help solve it?”

This question gradually moved my attention towards technology.

I began exploring how research logic, chart behaviour, structured workflows and technology could work together to reduce unnecessary effort, improve productivity and create a more focused research environment.

From Solving Problems to Building Solutions

The problems I experienced personally as a trader and researcher eventually led to the beginning of my journey as a fintech builder and founder.

I started developing my own technology platform around trading research, charting and workflow.

The idea was not simply to build another trading platform.

It was to explore whether the research process itself could become more structured, focused, productive and efficient.

The detailed platform and technology journey is covered separately on this website.

Recognition Became a Milestone in the Journey

After years of learning, research, experimentation, mistakes and persistence, my journey also resulted in recognition, including becoming a TradingView LEAP Competition Winner.

For me, this recognition was not the destination.

It was a milestone that represented one outcome of a much longer journey of independent learning, research, experimentation and continuous self-development.

From Personal Experience to Sharing the Journey

Following this journey and the recognition it brought, traders from different parts of the world began approaching me with questions around markets, strategies, research and their own challenges.

This encouraged me to start building a public presence and sharing the knowledge and experience I had accumulated over the years.

My objective is not simply to give traders more information.

I want to share the lessons, mistakes, research, market understanding, trader observations, processes and technology perspective that took years to develop — so that others can potentially reduce unnecessary trial and error and approach their own journey with greater clarity.

Where My Journey Stands Today

Today, my journey connects multiple dimensions:

Markets → Traders → Research → Problem Solving → Process → Technology → Education

I continue to research markets, study trader behaviour, explore chart structures, develop technology and share what I have learned through years of experience.

The question that started my journey has evolved into a much bigger purpose:

How can markets be understood more clearly, how can traders work more effectively, and how can better processes and technology help solve real problems within the trading ecosystem?

That is the journey I continue to build on.

Trader by Mission.

Researcher by Curiosity.

Problem Solver by Nature.

Builder by Opportunity.
